How to Adopt a Puppy
We are so happy you are interested in an Akita! We recommend you research and consider this breed before purchase. Akitas are an incredibly intelligent, independent, loving, loyal, and protective breed. It is best if you are knowledgeable and prepared to best offer an Akita what it needs to be happy. Akitas love their family (not so much strangers) and will want to be with you. They do not thrive separated from their people. Akitas are not friendly to strangers and will watch for your reaction to people in your presence. Always be sure to let your Akita know you accept the new person visiting your home. They are very keen and tuned into your demeanor. It is also highly recommended not to own two Akitas of the same sex. Opposite sex does better together. Ideally, as with any dog, training with your Akita is a very enjoyable and recommended skill.
Akitas are a top notch breed, and require top notch ownership. We look forward to working with you assisting in adding an American Akita to your family!

Log into paypal and click on send money. Send to the email address above. Once payment is received, I will send you a confirmation. This payment will be subtracted from the total payment of $1500. The remaining amount will be due on day of puppy pick up and must be paid in cash (no checks). You are more than welocme to come see your puppy or request more pictures. We can also ship puppies, but the cost of shippng a puppy and extra time will be added to the total cost and we can work with those details through email with you.
All puppies will be wormed and have their first shots.
Puppies will be ready to go home at 8 weeks old and not before. They need this time with their mom to grow healthy both physically and mentally.
